As an Import Operator you will be responsible for all aspects of the operation from processing import shipments through to delivery.

Duties include:

• Job registration
• Distributing pre alerts, arrival notices and out turn reports
• Checking documentation and ensuring all paperwork is received
• Passing documentation on for Customs Clearance
• Sea Lodgements
• Releasing delivery reports
• Checking trans – shipments
• Coordinating container unpacking, including pre alerts and manifests

This position involves two distinctive responsibilities;
Part One:
Cooking Classes:
You will be involved from concept to delivery; duties will include marketing, food preparation and kitchen assistance in all areas and class facilitation. Your presence and presentation in engaging the class in activities, making it a fun learning and entertaining environment is where your particular strength lies. Consider each class as a dinner party for 10, and you’re the host/hostess with most/mostest!
Part Two:
The head office that your will be working in is also the retail showroom for their products and related items. The showroom/shop is open to the public. Duties here will involve stock control and ordering, presentation and customer care and service. You will also be responsible preparing corporate lunches for the directors as and when required

Future prospects:
A Café will be opening up 1 day a week, looking to serve gourmet style sandwiches, Panini’s, wraps and rolls. You will play a critical part in developing the menu and be responsible for the food preparation, cooking, cleaning, presentation and service.

This dynamic and very rewarding role is working within a motivated food department where you can get your ‘creative juices flowing’ and with the freedom to explore your flare for mixing and matching ingredients to create unique and delicious recipes.
This is an ongoing casual role with a confirmed 15 hrs a week. In the future this can increase should you so desire.
Hours are flexible however they will look something along the lines below
Thursday 5 pm – 10.30 pm
Fri 11.30 am – 2.30 pm
Saturdays 9 am – 2.30 pm, every other week
